The design of the multipurpose thin film and multilayer deposition system has been finished.

The design of the multipurpose thin film and multilayer deposition system has been finished. The design allows for the deposition of materials from 4 magnetron sputter guns and by pulsed laser deposition from 4 targets as well. In-situ analytical tools include Low Energy Electron Diffraction (LEED), Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES) and Reflection High Energy Electron Diffraction (RHEED) as well as magneto-optical characterization. The system will become operational at the end of 2020. Collaborations with international and national partners are welcome!
